The Averys: A Year in Pictures

It is hard to believe that tomorrow was Ryan's due date. Our baby is almost one and what a year it has been! Here are some of our favorite moments!

Ryan's birthday: Ryan Carl Avery, September 13, 2010, 6:50 am. 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and 21 long inches

Big Brother Brandon meeting his little brother. He had waited so patiently for a long time to meet him and it was such a wonderful feeling to have our entire family together.

Ryan is such a happy, little guy. He loves to smile and talk, make faces, and play. He is going to be our class clown for sure and as I always tell people, he stays true to his middle name. He is spunky and sweet just like his Grandpa Watt was.

Ryan's first Christmas!

I love this picture because Brandon is trying so hard to make Ryan feel better. Ryan was completely over the craziness of Christmas and wanted out of the sweater so badly. Brandon is am amazing brother. We have our moments, but he loves his brother so much.

"Don't I look cool?"

Who could forget Chicken Pox? This is a pretty good picture when he was on the mend! We look at pictures when he was at his worst and wonder how he (and all of us) ever got through it. It was the longest 10 days of our life! He has one small scar under his eye and we always joke that it is his war wound and our reminder of how strong he is.

First haircut! The second haircut went a bit better!

"Look, I can stand!" He can now walk between Mike and I for about 3-5 steps, when he wants. He loves to crawl as fast as he can and just balance. He also loves to clap for himself. He is seriously a crack up!
