The Tech Museum currently has a Star Wars exhibit, much to the delight of my three Star Wars fans. It was neat to see some of the costumes and to really realize how ahead of it's time Star Wars was. Unfortunately, you can't use your flash in the exhibit, so some of the pictures came out blurry. It is really a challenge to keep two very active boys still.
And after the exhibit, we got to go into the Tech Museum to play. It was a lot of fun watching the boys explore and try to discover how "things worked."
They even had a science area where the boys (with a lot of help from Mom and Dad) got to make their own working Light Sabers using circuits and batteries.
And, to top off our day, we got to test out a new exhibit where kids get to make their own robot. I have to admit that I was pretty impressed by how quickly they seemed to figure it all out. The shield on the top, spins with the help of an on/off switch, they added lights, and then made a bow tie spin as well. It was a fun day all around!
