This weekend we decided to take the boys to Ardenwood Historic Park for some fun adventures. I used to go there with my family a lot when I was a kid, so it was nice to share it with my boys. They had a great time! It was a little boys' heaven with tractors, a horse pulled train, food, and animals. Here we are checking out the farm equipment.
And they are off at the sight of anything train related!
Waiting for the horse to get hooked up to pull the train!
And, thank you Mr. Horse for pulling us.
This by far though, has to be one of the funniest moments of our adventure. Ryan sees turkeys and runs up to them.
"Hello Mr. Turkey!" The turkeys think he has food so they start to follow him.
"Go this way turkeys"
It is hard to see from the picture but they are trying to push him with him.
And, then one thinks there is food in Ryan's hand and pecks him. No blood or broken skin, just a little scared. When I asked Ryan if we should eat that turkey for Thanksgiving, he thought for a while before saying, "No!"
But one little peck couldn't deter him from the animals! Here he is checking out the beautiful peacock at lunch!
And, a great way to end any day...popsicles!
