Mike and I really wanted to introduce Brandon to his newest friend down in Southern CA. Since Mike had a few days off for the Fourth of July holiday, we thought we would brave this trip, with our little man in tow!

It went great! Brandon only got angry at the end of the trip when he had decided that he had had enough of the car seat. (And, not that I can blame him because he spent about 10 hours in it round trip!) Our little man, slept, stopped at the rest stop to fill up on food and roll in the grass, and then made funny faces at mom in the backseat while she was trying to keep him awake and happy!

But, we were able to meet Sophie (and visit with her mommy and daddy), so that made the trip 110% worth it!
