My Best Friend

Brandon is one lucky guy because he has lots of little buddies.

However, one of his most cherished pals is his dog Ellie! He loves to look for her when she is in the room and as you will see from the pictures, Ellie is pretty protective of him sometimes too. For those of you who have been wondering, Ellie has done GREAT with Brandon. She is very sweet and just wants to give him lots of kisses. We are trying to hold off on the kisses as her tongue is as big as his head, but she does great. Brandon is the first person Ellie looks for when she comes in and she makes sure to get up and follow us to our night feedings just so she can make sure he is okay.

She has gotten a little jealous and has taken to jumping on the bed so she can watch him sleep and be as close to him as possible. Most of the time, that means a 70 pound dog trying to climb on me at 6:00 in the morning.

We feel really lucky to have a wonderful son and such a sweet dog too!
